Last updated: 5 October 2026. This page is updated every 15 days.

This calendar tracks nine major tech and startup events in Spain across 2026 and 2027. The next one is Startup OLÉ in Salamanca (13-15 October 2026), followed a week later by the Valencia Digital Summit (21-22 October 2026). After that come Big Data & AI World in Madrid (4-5 November 2026), then MWC Barcelona and 4YFN, which run side by side from 1 to 4 March 2027.

Below you'll find every date, venue and organiser in one table, a closer look at the biggest events and the status of each 2027 edition. All attendance figures are released by the organisers themselves, not counted independently, so read them as orders of magnitude rather than audited numbers.

What are the major upcoming tech events in Spain?

The table runs from the nearest date to the furthest. Events whose 2026 edition has already taken place are grouped at the bottom, with their 2027 status.

What should you know about each event?

When is the Valencia Digital Summit, and will there be a 2027 edition?

The 9th Valencia Digital Summit takes place on 21-22 October 2026 at the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias. It is organised by Startup Valencia with Valencia City Council, and this year's theme is "GENESIS. Origin of What's Next". The organiser expects more than 12,000 professionals from over 120 countries, 3,000 startups, 1,500 companies and 800 international investors. These are its own figures, not an independent count.

The 2027 edition is agreed: a deal between Valencia City Council and Startup Valencia covers both the 2026 and 2027 editions. No 2027 date has been published yet. An October 2027 edition would match previous years, but that is only our estimate and has not been confirmed.

What is South Summit Madrid, and when is the next edition?

South Summit is one of Spain's biggest startup and investor gatherings. It was founded in 2012 as the Spain Startup & Investor Summit, renamed in 2014, and is co-organised with IE University. Its 15th edition ran from 3 to 5 June 2026 at La Nave (Calle Cifuentes 5, Madrid) under the theme "AI Convergence".

The 2027 date has not been announced. The official site mentions a "South Summit Brazil 2027", which is a separate event and says nothing about when the Madrid edition will take place. We aren't assuming a June 2027 date until the organiser confirms one.
